Innova Institute

The Innova Institute is part of the GREITIM (Research Group in Gestió de l'Emprenedoria i la Innovació de Tecnològica), an emerging research group, recognized by the Generalitat de Catalunya. Our mission is to participate within the world's scientific community generating leading research in the fields of technology management, innovation, and entrepreneurship. We hold the institutional values of La Salle, encouraging the integration of people from diverse cultural backgrounds who will develop their work inside an environment of social and ethical responsibility, contributing to scientific knowledge dissemination. The institute has as a differential feature in the training of first-line researchers inside a global environment, providing them with knowledge and skills to incorporate new theories into management practice and the advancement of science in the fields of engineering and business management. Our researchers are working to lead the application of research, both in technological innovation processes and in the management of change in today's organizations. We are aiming to be a leading, free and independent actor in the process of collaborating with the generation of well-being through the creation of new technology companies and the improvement through technological innovation of organizations that already exist. We provide the knowledge generated in our research projects to help companies and public institutions to understand the role that new technologies and innovation can play to improve their economic and social value and competitiveness. Periodically, we prepare reports of broad interest and also recommendations for specific cases. Besides the publication of articles, business cases, and discussion forums are regularly also carried out to contribute to the discussion of new ideas and to plan the challenges to be achieved concerning the management of technological innovation and entrepreneurship.
