How can you start to use TRUE?
You can start by following 3 steps:
- Fill in this form to become a registered user.
- Wait for our approval. If your request is accepted you will become an "Administrator".
- Access to TRUE as an Administrator and start creating your tests.
How can you create a test?
- If you want to evaluate a set of audio, audiovisual or graphic files you must rename them as "txxxx.extension" (e.g. "t0001.wav", "t0015.mp4" or "t0234.png"). If you want to evaluate a set of texts, you must create a text file with the elements separated by a new line character.
- You must upload the files to a web server. If you have a personal webpage you can upload them to a directory in the same server. Or you can choose any free web server or ftp server to upload the files. The files must be visible with an Internet address like "http://myserver.com/t0001.wav" or "ftp://myserver.com/t0015.mp4", for example.
- Then, creating a test is as easy as filling-in a form. You can find help about this process in the same form. You can add a custom introduction to your test and also a survey at the end. You can previsualize your test at any moment. When you finish the design you will get a "Direct link" to your test that you can use to distribute it. Now your test is publicly available to everybody!
How can you get the results of a test?
From the Control Panel of TRUE you can access to the section "Get results of a test". From this section you can download the results of the test in several formats: CSV, XML or Microsoft Excel.
Results include, for each user that started the test and additionally to the evaluation for each file, the last stimulus evaluated, the time needed to take the test, the answers to the final survey, etc.
