The digital TV lab implements a full TV broadcasting chain for the research, development and testing activities of the research area in digital TV.
The list of equipment includes the following:
- Analyser/Generator of MPEG-2 frames: MPEGscope Plus, Hewlett Packard
- Analyser MPEG2-DVB Tektronix MTS-400
- Compressor MPEG-2, Tadiran Scopus E-1100
- Multistandard modulator DVB (DVB-S, –C y -T) SFQ, Rohde & Schwarz
- DVB-H IP Encapsulator VEGA (own development).
- Multiplexer MPEG-2/DVB, Tadiran Scopus RTM 3600, 8 DVB-ASI inputs
- Digital TV multiplex management system, with interactive application injector: Handata (own development)
- DVB-T/-S MHP receivers with MHP development environment (SDK), Philips.
- DVB-T laboratory receiver Rohde&Schwarz EFA-40.
- DVB-S receiver Codico IRD 2520 de Tadiran Scopus.
- DVB-T/S MHP receivers: SAMSUNG, PHILIPS, SONY, HUMAX, ADB, NETGEM, PACE, FUJITSU-SIEMENS, OSMOSYS
- DVB-H modulator (Teamcast)
- DVB-H receiver (SIDSA Loren)
- DVB-H receiver (Sagem My750C)
- Satellite and terrestrial reception system: Televés. Includes a satellite positioner.
- Field measurement device TV Exporer II+, Promax.
