La Salle Campus Barcelona, a founding member of the Universitat Ramon Llull, has presented the subject of Thought and Creativity to the new first-year students, a core subject of all the university degrees taught on campus. The event was attended by students and educators from the campus and by guests such as the actor and comedian Bruno Oro and the former La Salle-URL student Marc Calero, Deputy General Director of Banc Sabadell. Both have highlighted the importance of training in different areas and working transversally to develop critical thinking.
Within the framework of the subject Thought and Creativity, first-year students will develop projects related to the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) in a transversal way, collaborating with classmates from other degrees and fields of knowledge. In the words of the General Director of La Salle Campus Barcelona, Josep M. Santos: “Transversal and collaborative work underpins the creation of good projects, in which the sum of efforts results in richer and better-defined initiatives, as occurs in the world of work and associations in general.
Throughout the course and by implementing their projects, students will reflect on sustainability and the importance of personal involvement when facing the challenges of society to contribute to building a fairer and more sustainable world, addressing issues such as social responsibility, ethics, sustainability and social impact from a humanistic perspective.
