The Degree in Telematics Engineering (Engineering of Networks and Internet Technologies) is the link between computer science and telecommunication systems. This area provides graduates with the basic knowledge of these two disciplines, but always with the necessary specialization to know about data network technologies.
Companies specialized in many different fields as the telecommunication business, Formula 1, the audiovisual world, sport broadcasting, public administrations, medicine or banking among others, demand these kind of professionals because they are essential and versatile.

La Salle has been prized many times by CISCO systems, world leader in network and Internet. In Spain we have been recognized as “Best University CNAP Academy 2006”, and at European level we received the “2007 Global Recognition Award”.

We are the only university in Spain including CISCO Systems professional certificates “CCNA” y “CCNP” in our study plans. This training is highly demanded by companies.

The Data Transmissions laboratories are equipped with the state of the art technologies for implementing solutions and network infrastructures.

Our methodology is very practical. Between 50% to 100% of the subjects are taught in our laboratories.

You will follow subjects in English and receive training in project management and business management. These are important complements for a fast adaptation to the professional world. Students carry out practical sessions with students from other degrees, allowing them to acquire interdisciplinary knowledge and skills, very appreciated in the business world.

CISCO Partners Talent Job Event
The first symposium about Work and Technological Talent in Catalonia generates job opportunities for 150 students, with 15 immediate recruitment and other 15 in course.

La Salle and the coordinator of the Bachelor’s degree in Telematics, Jaume Abella, are mentioned in an article of the “Spectrum IEEE” about the Hacker High School.
At La Salle we organize workshops and conferences about this theme.

You will be able to develop the robotic platform “LS Maker” that will be delivered at the beginning of the academic course to all the students in the first year of every Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
