Open Campus

In La Salle, we believe that virtual and multimedia education supplies the increasing demand of many active professionals who want to develop real projects and participate in them. For this reason, the Open Campus programmes offer virtual training with learning processes based on the need to carry out different tasks. This consists in a pedagogical model based on the system Learning by Doing, which at La Salle is called Scenario Centered Curriculum.

The Open Campus online platform offers this innovative training in the areas of Business Management and ICT. The programs simulate the practice of different job tasks, where different roles are played in collaboration with other online students.

From the beginning, the student is placed in a scenario with other workmates. For each assigned role they develop several projects and work in team guided by professional experts. Students will have the support of a tutor that may suggest to consult documents, videos, bibliographies or links according to the previous knowledge, the particular learning objectives and the skills expected to be developed.

Recorded classes

Several of our online programmes system consist on videotaping some of the classes taught at the campus and uploading them to Internet so they are available to their students whenever they want to watch them without having to move somewhere else or adjusting to an specific timetable. Also, during the course, students receive personal online attention from a tutor and an academic coordinator.
